Ghost Passenger

Year 2001. Driving alone in his airconditioned owner-type jeepney, Elmer Ebora, pest controller, was on his way home when he saw an ordinary lady wearing a simple white blouse and dark slacks standing along the road. Unexpectedly, the lady waved at him and so he stopped. Ebora gave the lady a ride. The lady sat quietly despite conversation pieces by Ebora. Then the guest passenger point the driver to her right side. Ebora stopped driving. The lady alighted from the vehicle and walked through the tall grass. But he was even more surprised when smoke filled the area and the lady just disappeared. Scared of what he saw, he drove fast but unfortunately, he met an accident when he hit a big tree. By standers brought him to nearby hospital. Luckily, he survived the accident.
